Cover illustration for 914CEO Magazine

I had the opportunity to do the cover for the September/October issue of 914CEO Magazine. Sarasota, Florida's leading business magazine. The Art Director wanted the cover to bereminiscent of the old Monopoly Game board, while showcasing many of the points in the cover story (housing, education, retail, new business opportunities, etc) .

It took some sketching and thinking to figure out how to make the buildings look less like a cartoon, yet still fit in with the Monopoly game board and pieces so I ended up drawing them in an isometric perspective but in the South Florida style. I think that it turned out great!

A few months back I was contacted by Georgia Institute of Technology to illustrate a portrait of Dean Gary S. May for the cover of the College of Engineering magazine. This portrait illustration will be featured on an upcoming issue of "Georgia Tech Engineers".  Although it is not yet published I do have permission to post the illustration.  It is such an honor to have been able to create such great work for one of the leading Universities in the world. Thank you to everyone at Georgia Tech who helped with your direction and feedback.

Portrait illustrations for California Real Estate Magazine.

I wanted to share with you four portrait illustrations for this month's edition of California Real Estate Magazine for the article, "Reinventing Real Estate", by Jeannette Brown. The portraits are of top executives in the real estate industry: Joel Singer, CEO of the California Association of Realtors, Curt Beardsley, Zillow's VP of Industry Development, Luke Glass, VP of Industry Platforms for Realtor.com and Paul Levine, President of Trulia. Below, I have posted the spread as well as details of the portraits. The layout turned out great and the illustrations look fantastic!
