I had a lot of fun illustrating this article for the February edition of Philadelphia Magazine. "The New Normal", written by Emily Goulet, pokes fun at some of the ridiculously inane "Kardashian-esque" things that many women have adopted into their daily beauty regimens.
From blow-dry bars and spray tans to obtain the perfect shade of oompa loompa orange, to eyelash extensions and pubic hair softening (ahem) oils, the article explains how 'Thanks to Instagram, Snapchat and basically the entire E! network, we have a front row seat to the glamification of celebrities - once strictly a behind-closed-doors affair and how savvy entrepreneurs have begun to capitalize on the ever-growing gray area that lies between Sephora and plastic surgery'.
So toss that mane and get your best trout pout on, it's time to take selfie!
